Four Paws Body & Mind bases its training and behaviour modification programmes on the scientific principles of canine learning theory and behaviour change. We use only kind, effective and non-punitive methods of training and behaviour modification. These T&Cs are written in the interest of safety and welfare for owners and dogs.
The client should understand that dog training and behaviour modification is not without risk and they are responsible for the conduct of their dog at all times. Four Paws Body & Mind cannot accept responsibility for loss, injury or damage to any person or property. The client should understand that their dogs behaviour is their responsibility and they should assume full liability for any loss, injury or damage that their dog does to any person or property.
Harsh handling of any kind is not permitted. I do not use and will not condone the use of choke chains, prong collars, electric-shock collars and any other coercive techniques.
Children are very welcome to attend training and behaviour modification sessions. However, for the sake of safety and consistency in your dogs learning, young people under the age of 16 years MUST be with an adult at all times. Children who make a lot of noise or dash about can concern dogs and encourage dogs to learn to chase children. Parents are encouraged to explain to children how important it is for them to listen and be involved with training sessions.
Please let us know if your dog is not fit to attend a session or class due to illness, injury or other reason. I respectfully request that dogs are treated for worms and up to date with vaccinations as advised by your vet.
Please note: for behaviour modification only. If you intend to claim on your pet insurance, please check directly with the insurance company as I am not permitted to enter into correspondence with them on your behalf.
Refunds cannot be given after your package has started, except in exceptional circumstances.
Cancellations: Please note that if you are unable to keep the appointment I require 48 hours notice given via telephone or e-mail. A cancellation fee of £40 (paid as deposit) will be charged if less than 48 hours notice is given.
